The day pass is 160 SEK and is purchased in the museum reception. A day pass gives you free admission to the museum for a whole day.
An annual pass costs 200 SEK and gives you free admission to the Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities (Medelhavsmuseet), the Museum of Ethnography (Etnografiska museet), the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities (Östasiatiska museet) for 365 days from date of purchase.

Free admission applies to children up to 19 years of age. If you are 19 or older, you are required to purchase an annual pass or day ticket.
It is also free for asylum seekers with a valid LMA card from the Swedish Migration Agency. Free admission also applies to members of ICOM or Swedish Museums on presentation of a valid card.
The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities is located in central Stockholm on the island Skeppsholmen. The adress is Tyghusplan 4, Stockholm.
You can get to the museum by bus 65 from the Central station (Vasagatan). Get off at stop Östasiatiska museet. You can also take the subway (blue line to Kungsträdgården station). You'll find the museum on the left side after crossing the bridge to Skeppsholmen.
A limited amount of parking spaces are located in front of the museum on tyghusplan. You'll find more parking spaces behind our neighbour Moderna museet.
We offer our visitors free Wi-Fi. Please ask for login details at our reception.
You can shoot pictures without using flash, a tripod and selfie stick. Please share your pictures in social media channels.Please contact the reception if you plan to shoot pictures for commercial use.
Backpacks, larger bags (or equivalent) and umbrellas are to be kept in the storage cabinet for visitors' safety. Cabinets are located adjacent to the entrance of the museum, no coins needed.
It is permitted to bring in a stroller to the museum, and we dedicate a stroller parking space between our shop and the closets section. It is not possible to lock the wagons. There is a changing room available for infants/babies as well as restrooms.
Only guide dogs are permitted to be in the premises. Do not leave your pet tied at the entrance of the museum.
The museum's shop features various products that are produced by Japanese and Chinese manufacturers. Here you will find bowls, jewellery and books. You are welcome to visit the shop only.
